3-day-old Safari facelift goes on a 1750 km road trip: 12 observations

ADAS is helpful but distracts multiple times during driving, especially in the city area.

My car's (Accomplished Plus AT, 6S, 2023, Stellar Frost) ODI reading now is 2900 km, and I had a long drive of ~1750 km from Delhi to HYD on the third day of the car purchase.

Here are my experiences:

1. The indicator-based camera for blind spots is sometimes a distraction, and they should have the split screen option, especially if you are on navigation.
2. Wireless charging is not user-friendly; finding the right spot for the phone to be in charging mode takes a lot of time.
3. A six-seater configuration is a good option, and ventilated seats at the back are a plus. I have a dog, and he travels with us. However, we have a bench (aftermarket) to make six-seaters and seven-seaters. The Bench becomes a cup holder if you wish to use it that way.
4. Over the last 40 days of purchase, I had to factory reset the device several times, mainly because of some glitches (sound not coming during indication, Bluetooth errors when ADAS sound and music play together)
5. ADAS is helpful but distracts multiple times during driving, especially in the city area. However, I liked the Driver attention alert; it does help if you wish to plan your breaks.
6. Ride quality is fantastic, and even after many kilometres, it feels smooth and breezy on state and national highways. The potholes do not bother us in Safari much.
7. Sometimes, I find the noise from the rest of the empty seats annoying.
8. Boot space is okay if you use a six-seater configuration, but you have challenges if you have more people.
9. The mood light on the roof shows a reflection on the side mirrors, which impacts the concentration
10. The gesture on the tailgate has a high nuisance value; I like the boot lock and unlock using the car remote or touch panel.
11. I feel that the interiors are fantastic; even though they are in light colour, I haven't found challenges keeping them clean. This is even after having a dog in the car many times.
12. The cabin light in the middle row is limited and not bright.
