Yamaha has filed a design patent for the 2025 YZF-R3 in India, which suggests that the bike maker might be planning to introduce the updated version soon.

The 2025 edition of the Yamaha YZF-R3 features a redesigned fairing with a sharper-looking front fascia. It has a projector headlamp flanked by LED DRLs and a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.

Powering the Yamaha R3 is a 321cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 41.4 BHP and 29.5 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch.
