JLR has launched the 2025 edition of the Land Rover Defender in India. The SUV is available in 90, 110 and 130 body styles. It now comes in two variants: X-Dynamic HSE and X.
As part of the update, the Defender 130 now comes in a 7-seat configuration with separate captain seats in the second row. This version is also available as an 8-seater.
JLR has also updated the equipment list for the 2025 model year. The Defender comes with an 11-.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Besides this, the SUV also gets 14-way electrically adjustable front seats with heating, cooling, and memory functions.
The V8 engine is now available across more trims and is priced at Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom). This 5.0-litre V8 produces 414 BHP and 610 Nm. The 2.0-litre petrol is available in X-Dynamic HSE trim, while the 3.0-litre diesel is offered across all three body styles and in X-Dynamic HSE, X and Sedona Edition trims.
