Kawasaki has launched the 2018 Ninja 300 in India priced at Rs. 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated model uses locally produced parts and gets dual-channel ABS, new colours and graphics. Kawasaki is also offering 3 years warranty on pre-bookings for a limited period.

The Ninja 300 is based on a diamond type steel frame. It measures 2,015 mm in length, 715 mm in width and 1,110 mm in height. The bike has a wheelbase of 1,405 mm and the seat height is 785 mm. It weighs 179 kg (kerb weight) and comes with a 17-litre fuel tank.

The 2018 Ninja 300 looks similar to the outgoing version except for the new graphics. It features twin headlamps with turn signals placed on the side fairings. The bike has a stepped seat and a side-mounted exhaust with a silver heat shield. It rides on 37-mm telescopic forks at the front and a 5-way adjustable monoshock at the rear.

The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission via a slipper clutch. Braking is handled by a single 290-mm petal disc in the front and a 220-mm petal disc in the rear with dual-piston calipers at both ends. The bike also gets dual-channel ABS as standard.

The 2018 Ninja 300 is available in 2 colour options - Lime Green / Ebony and Candy Plasma Blue.
