2018 Jaguar F-Type SVR priced at Rs. 2.65 crore

Jaguar is gearing up to launch the 2018 F-Type SVR in the Indian market. The sports car is priced from Rs. 2.65 crore and bookings are now open.

The F-Type SVR is a high-performance version of the F-Type, which has been developed by Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team. The car will be available in both coupe and convertible body styles. On the outside, the SVR version gets a tweaked front bumper with larger air vents and a more pronounced splitter. It has vents on the front fenders, a fixed rear spoiler and quad exhausts housed within a reworked rear diffuser. The F-Type SVR rides on 20-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels and comes with a Titanium and Inconel exhaust system that is claimed to be 16 kg lighter than the stock exhaust. Apart from the lightweight sports seats, the interiors of the F-Type SVR are similar to the standard car. 

The F-Type SVR is powered by a 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 engine that delivers 567 BHP @ 6,500 rpm and 700 Nm of torque @ 3,500 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Jaguar claims that the SVR coupe will do 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 322 km/h.
