2017 Audi A5 Sportback spotted testing again in Mumbai

The 2017 Audi A5 Sportback has again been spotted testing in Mumbai without any significant camouflage. The same car was spotted testing earlier in May 2016.

The German automaker hasn’t revealed any plans to launch the next-gen A5 Sportback in India. However, the company had claimed that its cars are often tested in India to accumulate diversified data.

The new A5 coupe has already been launched in the International markets, but hasn’t been brought to India yet. Meanwhile, the A5 Sportback is expected to make its global premiere at this year's Paris Motor Show in October 2016.

The car is equipped with Matrix LED headlamps, while the taillights too get LED treatment. The interiors of the Sportback will likely be identical to the A5 coupe, and will thus get features like a Bang & Olufsen surround sound music system, Audi virtual cockpit with 12.3-inch LCD display, and leather upholstery.

Official specifications of the A5 Sportback are yet to be revealed, but import data shows that Audi has imported one model of the Sportback. This imported car is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that churns out 187 BHP and 400 Nm of torque.
