2016 BMW 7-Series teased. Debut on 10th June

BMW has just teased the next generation 7-Series and has confirmed the debut date for the luxury limousine. The new model will make its debut on 10th June and as seen in previous spy shots, the changes will be evolutionary on the surface.

The G11 7-Series will feature a new front grille with laser headlights, chrome garnish along the side skirting and windows. The car is expected to be lighter by around 130 kgs as well. The weight savings can be attributed to the carbon-reinforced plastic body structure, that BMW has labelled “Carbon Core”.

It was earlier believed that BMW would launch the new 7-Series at the Frankfurt motor show in September, but the German automaker may have chosen to push the reveal ahead, given that several key details were already caught on camera.
