2015 Ford Endeavour officially revealed

Ford has officially unveiled the 2015 Endeavour SUV. Based on the Ford Ranger pick-up, the 2015 Endeavour was designed and developed by Ford's Asia Pacific teams. The SUV is available with a choice of 3 engine options.

- A 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, twin-scroll EcoBoost petrol engine.
- A 2.2-litre four-cylinder, Duratorq TDCi diesel engine.
- A 3.2-litre, five-cylinder, Duratorq TDCi diesel engine.

The aforementioned engines can be mated with a 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. Noteworthy features include Adaptive Cruise Control, SYNC 2 in car connectivity, Curve Control, Lane Keeping Aid and Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert.

To support the Endeavour's off road credentials, the seven-seater SUV features a body-on-frame construction, intelligent four-wheel drive and an advanced Terrain Management System. The Terrain Management System is available with four preset settings– Normal, Snow/Gravel/Grass, Sand and Rock.

Ford also offers an active transfer case with Torque on Demand, a ground clearance of 225 mm and water-wading capability of 800 mm.

Asia Pacific sales of the all new Endeavour will begin next year. Ford will begin sales in 9 markets, including China, India, Australia, New Zealand and markets across the ASEAN region. Ford will also introduce the Endeavour in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Africa in 2015.
