2015 Audi A6 facelift revealed

Audi revealed the 2015 facelift version of its premium saloon - A6. The new car will feature exterior and interior styling changes as well as additional equipment.

Visually, the new A6 appears to resemble other sedans in Audi's range. The face of the new A6 has styling changes to the front grill and air-dams. Audi's new Matrix LED headlamps will also feature on the facelift version of the A6 along with revised tail lamps with 'sweeping' rear indicators.

On the inside too, the interiors receive minor interior changes along with an updated infotainment system. The 6.5" MMI screen is replaced with a larger, 8" unit and MMI navigation plus which uses a more powerful Tegra 30 graphics processor from Audi’s partner Nvidia, and includes MMI touch, which enables the driver to scroll and zoom in lists and maps via a touchpad.

Features such as lane changing warning, adaptive cruise control, night vision and head up display will also make their way in the new A6.

The new A6 will be re-launched with the same range of engines i.e. two petrol and two diesel motors. The petrol units include 2.0L TFSI and 2.8L TFSI units producing 180 bhp and 204 bhp respectively; and the diesel mills include a 2.0L TDI and a 3.0L TDI which produce 174 bhp and 241 bhp respectively. The engines might be tweaked for better power output and efficiency.

The facelift version of the A6 is expected to be launched in India in 2015.
