The Yamaha NMax 155 could be launched in the Indian market later this year.

Yamaha showcased the NMax 155 maxi-scooter at the recently concluded Bharat Mobility Show.

The Yamaha NMax 155 is based on the Aerox 155, but features a sporty look. It has a large fairing in the front with dual headlamps and an integrated windscreen. It has a stepped seat offering a more relaxed riding position.

The NMax 155 also features a fully digital instrument cluster which is compatible with Yamaha’s MyRide app. It gets Bluetooth connectivity with features such as email, call and text alerts as well as smartphone battery level.

The NMax 155 is powered by the same 155cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 15 BHP and 14 Nm and comes with an idle start/stop function. The engine is mated to a V-Belt automatic gearbox.

The Yamaha NMax 155 could be launched in the Indian market later this year. However, the company is yet to confirm this.
