Yamaha launches SZ-RR Version 2.0 in India at Rs. 65,300

Yamaha Motor India has launched the SZ-RR Version 2.0 commuter motorcycle at a price of Rs. 65,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The SZ-RR Version 2.0 uses a 149 cc, single-cylinder, carburetted, 4-stroke unit with Yamaha's Blue Core technology. It develops a peak power of 12 bhp @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 12.8 Nm @ 6000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Stopping power comes from a 245 mm disc brake and a 130 mm drum brake at the front and rear respectively. The bike is available with a 220 mm drum brake at the front as well.

The bike has a diamond-type frame with a telescopic fork front suspension and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It stands 2050 mm long, 760 mm wide and 1100 mm high with a wheelbase of 1320 mm, a ground clearance of 165 mm and a seat height of 800 mm. The SZ-RR Version 2.0 weighs 134 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres. The bike rides on tubeless tyres all-round.

The instrumentation of the SZ-RR Version 2.0 is basic and consists of an analogue speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and an odometer.

The Yamaha SZ-RR Version 2.0 is available in three colours - Red Dash, Ivory White and Green Arrow.
