The Yamaha FZ-X has been spotted in Himachal Pradesh. Three completely undisguised bikes were seen near the Atal Tunnel during an ad shoot.
The FZ-X will be based on the FZ-FI and features a neo-retro look. It has a round headlamp and telescopic fork suspension with rubber gaiters at the front. The bike also appears to be equipped with an upswept exhaust. In addition to a matte black colour, the FZ-X is likely to be available in bright blue and orange shades.
The FZ-X measures 2,020 mm in length, 785 mm in width and 1,115 mm in height with a wheelbase of 1,330 mm. Its gross weight is 289 kg.
The FZ-X is expected to be powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder engine producing 12.2 BHP @ 7,500 rpm. Since it's the same engine that powers the FZ, peak torque is expected to be identical at 13.3 Nm.
