Yamaha has reduced the prices of its FZ 25 and FZS 25 offerings by Rs. 18,800 and Rs. 19,300, respectively. The Yamaha FZ 25 now costs Rs. 1,34,800, while the FZS 25 costs Rs. 1,39,300 (ex-showroom).
According to the bike maker, the price drop has been possible due to a reduction in input costs. By passing on the benefit to customers, Yamaha expects to reach out to potential buyers. The price cut has also made the FZ 25 range approachable.
The FZ 25 and FZS 25 are powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.5 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 20.1 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Both bikes get a 7-step adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear and disc brakes at both ends. The FZS 25 gets a larger windscreen and a brush guard.
