XUV500 W4 now gets a 6-inch monochrome infotainment system

Thanks to Satish Sundar for sharing the following information!

Mahindra seems to have silently updated the base 'W4' variant of the XUV500 in order to make the entry-grade of the SUV a sweeter proposition. Satish Sundar booked an XUV500 W4 in 'Opulent Purple' on Jan 15 in Chennai. The vehicle's allotment was delayed, as Mahindra has now dropped the single LCD setup in favour of a 6-inch monochrome infotainment system with USB, Bluetooth audio, hands-free calling & iPod connectivity + CD, as seen in the W6 grade.

Satish was informed of this update by his sales representative and the same is now reflected on Mahindra's official site. While the 6-inch infotainment system will be offered in the W4 and W6 grades, the W8 and W10 get a 7-inch colour touchscreen infotainment display with GPS, USB (audio / video), Bluetooth audio, hands-free calling, iPod connectivity, a picture viewer and a configurable wallpaper.

The Mahindra XUV500 W4 is currently priced at Rs. 11.50 lakh with the top-end W10 AWD AT priced at Rs. 17.23 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom Mumbai).
