White Motorcycle Concepts - a British two-wheeler brand, has unveiled its WMC250EV electric motorcycle concept. The unique-looking and extremely aerodynamic electric motorcycle has been designed with the aim of breaching the 400 km/h speed barrier.
The electric motorcycle concept comes with a channel, beneath the seats and the handlebars. White Motorcycles calls this feature, 'V-Air' and claims that it helps reduce drag by up to 70 per cent when compared to a conventional motorcycle.
The WMC250EV is said to be powered by two 20 kW electric motors at the front and another two 30 kW AC motors at the rear. The combined 100 kW is further paired with a 15 kWh lithium-ion battery.
The motorcycle is said to be completely built out of carbon fibre and aluminium, which along with the massive powertrain tips the scale at 300 kg.
White Motorcycle Concepts aims to beat both the British and World land speed records with their WMC250EV, sometime in the next 12 months. Currently, the two-way record stands at 394.4 km/h and the one-way speed record is 407 km/h.
