Big thanks to surjaonwheelz to convince abhi_tjet to come over for a group ride on a weekend.

We were bunch of regular riders, few new faces, few new bikes. Bikes in group were Ducati Multistrada V2, RE Interceptor, Triumph Tiger 800, Triumph Scrambler 400x, RE Meteor 350, UM Renegade Commando and Suzuki V-Strom SX250.

Tamhini-Lonavala circuit was planned for the ride with gathering points first in Sus and later Ghotawade. As usual, most riders didn't keep anyone waiting for too long. We were off quickly towards breakfast point, QuickBite after Mulshi. Sadly no food photos, perhaps we were either too hungry or eager to continue the ride.

Mix of Clouds and sunshine

After crossing some more curves of Tamhini ghat, we took a right turn towards Andharban for Lonavala. We knew part of it to be narrow and some bad roads. We stopped at a nice location for some photos.

Nice mountain range

Bad patches of road

Cloud formation that Amazon would awe at

Passing Lonavala lake wall

After reaching back on old Mumbai-Pune highway, we just zoomed at highway pace. Some of us took a chai break whereas couple of riders went their way home.

Good balance of curvy country roads, broken patches, amazing nature (mountain and sky) views and highway riding pace. Thanks once again surjaonwheelz for arranging this.
