Volkswagen Nivus SUV-coupe revealed in new teaser images

Volkswagen has released new teaser images of the Nivus SUV. The latest images feature a camouflaged prototype.

The VW Nivus is a coupe version of the Taigun bound for the South American market. It is based on the MQB A0 platform and measures 4,266 mm in length and the wheelbase is 2,566 mm.

The Nivus will feature a hexagonal grille flanked by LED headlights that have integrated LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has a trapezoidal air dam. At the rear, the Nivus has a raked windshield with a roof spoiler and wraparound tail lights. It also has a dual-tone rear bumper with reflector strips. The car seen here has black alloy wheels, black ORVMs and door handles as well as roof rails.

The VW Nivus is expected to be offered with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 126 BHP. It could be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
