Volkswagen Ameo GT Line edition launched at Rs. 9.99 lakh

Volkswagen has introduced the Ameo GT Line edition priced from Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is available in Diesel Highline Plus automatic variant only.

The Ameo GT Line comes in a new Sunset Red colour option. It gets GT Line fender badges, black ORVMs, roof and side foil as well as a black trunk lip spoiler. The car also come with Volkswagen Connect features such as trip tracking, driver behaviour, statistics tracking, location sharing and fuel cost monitoring among others.

The Ameo GT Line edition is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that makes 108 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 250 Nm @ 1,500-3,000 rpm. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Volkswagen is offering 5 years standard warranty on diesel versions of the Polo, Ameo and Vento.
