The 2017 KTM Duke 390 has been spotted on video while testing in India under heavy camouflage. This is reportedly the first time that the bike has been spotted testing on public roads in the country. It has already been spied multiple times during its test runs in Europe.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 will be the bike's second generation model. The new bike has been given updates including new twin headlamps, a sharply contoured fuel tank, new switchgear, a side-mounted exhaust, and a tweaked frame. Earlier spy shots and renderings revealed that the all-new Duke 390 draws its inspiration from the 1290 Superduke, which has now been discontinued.

Powering the 2017 KTM Duke 390 will be an evolved version of the 373.27 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is found in the current model. In its present iteration, this power mill develops 43 BHP and 35 Nm of torque. The company engineers have reportedly tweaked the engine to offer a higher output figure. It will also get ride by wire and slipper clutch as standard.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 is reportedly scheduled to debut at the 2016 EICMA show, which will be held from 8 to 13 November, 2016.
