Used Mini Charged Edition for 35 lakh: Good deal for a hatchback lover?

The electric vehicle has done only 1,800 km and is just 16 months old.

BHPian determinism recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

A friend is selling his 16-month-old Mini Charged (the electric variant of the 3-Door Cooper SE) edition with just 1,800 km on the odometer for around ₹35 lakhs.

In comparison, a brand-new one costs ₹57 lakhs before discounts. I primarily drive in the city, covering about 30 km daily, and the car offers a range of 150-160 km on a full charge.

Since I love small hatchbacks, would you consider this deal if you were in my place?

Here's what BHPian shankar.balan replied:

It’s a MINI! What’s not to like?

You love small hatchbacks. Range doesn't matter since this is to be used only as a city vehicle. It is a great buy if you have the budget.

There is absolutely no comparison between a 57-60 Lakh for a new one and this 35 lakh deal.

1800 kms is negligible and 16 months is nearly new. Plus it is from a friend.

Eyes closed - Go for it!

Here's what BHPian omar replied:

It sounds like a good deal if you have the budget for it. Drive it and see if you like it.

Personally, I would not buy electric right now, since the technology is evolving. It is also evident from the depreciation. I would instead prefer an ICE one if that is available. Would also get something a bit more cheaper and equally special like a GTI or Abarth 595.
