Updated Hero Xtreme priced at Rs. 66,516

Hero MotoCorp first displayed the updated Xtreme motorcycle in October 2013. Now the company's dealerships have started accepting bookings for the bike.

The refreshed Xtreme is available in four colours - orange, silver, blue and red. The bike gets a new body graphics, front visor, headlamp, LED tail lamp, turn-indicators and alloy wheels. There is a new digital-analogue instrument cluster, side stand indicator, dual finish exhaust pipe, and engine immobiliser. A mobile charger socket has been provided under the seat of the bike.

The Xtreme is powered by a 149.2 cc, 14.4 PS, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that puts out 14.4 PS and 12.8 Nm. A 5-speed transmission transmits this power to the rear wheel. The bike is equipped with a self as well as a kick-start.

The Xtreme is available with a 240 mm disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear. Customers can opt for a 220 mm disc brake at the rear.

The front-only disc brake variant is priced at Rs. 66,516 (ex-showroom, Mumbai), while the front and rear disc brake variant costs Rs. 69,530 (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
