TVS launches augmented reality app ARIVE

Customers can now experience the Apache RR 310 and RTR 200 4V in augmented reality.

TVS Motors has launched a new augmented reality (AR) app called ARIVE (The Augmented Reality Interactive Vehicle Experience). The app will offer a more immersive experience to customers as they explore TVS bikes. It is available for Android and iOS devices.

Initially, customers will be able to check out the Apache RR 310 and RTR 200 4V models. Later, the entire TVS product range will be available on the app, allowing customers to download independent modules of every product.

Each module is divided into three modes - Place to explore (AR-based), Scan a real bike (AR-based) and 3D mode (for non-AR compatible devices).

The Place to explore feature positions a virtual 3D model of the bike in the AR world. It can be placed on any horizontal surface and the user can rotate or zoom-in using gestures.

Using the Scan a real bike mode, users can scan an actual vehicle by holding the device in front of it and the different features will be automatically highlighted.

Hotspots highlight important features through an X-ray vision of the vehicle. The app also includes detailed product descriptions, videos and animations.

Using the Sell Through Process option, users can schedule a test ride, locate the nearest dealer or book their vehicle online.
