Triumph has recalled the Bonneville, Street Twin and Street Scrambler for a possible wiring harness issue. According to the company, the wiring harness in the headstock could get damaged due to the clutch cable rubbing against it, which could cause electrical issues.
Last week Triumph recalled over 12,000 bikes in the US for the same issue. These include the Bonneville T100, T100 Black, Bonneville T120, T120 Black, Street Twin, Street Twin A2, Street Scrambler and Street Cup. In India, around 1,000 bikes are affected by this recall and owners have been asked to contact their dealerships to get the wiring harness replaced at no additional cost.
Owners can also check if their bikes is among those recall by entering the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on this website.
