Toyota Urban Cruiser's grille revealed in new teaser

Toyota has released a second teaser image of the upcoming Urban Cruiser. The new image reveals the sub-4 meter SUV's grille.

The Urban Cruiser is a re-badged version of the Maruti Vitara Brezza. It will get a new twin-slat grille. The car is also likely to get a dual-tone exterior and 5-spoke diamond cut alloy wheels.

Reports suggest that the Urban Cruiser could get light coloured interiors and will be equipped with features like a touchscreen infotainment head-unit, automatic climate control, cruise control among others.

The Urban Cruiser is likely to be powered by the same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol mild-hybrid powertrain from the Vitara Brezza. This engine makes 104 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm @ 4,400 rpm and comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser will be launched this festive season. Bookings will open by the end of August.
