Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Hybrid priced from Rs. 15.11 lakh

Toyota has announced the prices of the top four variants of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. These include eDrive Hybrid variants: V, G, S and the V AT Neo Drive. The hybrid range starts at Rs 15.11 lakh, while the automatic variant costs Rs 17.09 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is the first SUV in its segment to offer a strong-hybrid powertrain option. It uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 91 BHP and 122 Nm. The ICE is paired with an electric motor that has an output of 78 BHP and 141 Nm.

The car comes with a 177.6 V lithium-ion battery pack which offers an all-electric range of up to 25 km. According to Toyota, the SUV offers overall fuel efficiency of 24-25 km/l. It uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The V AT Neo Drive variant is powered by a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain. This engine makes 103 BHP and 137 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Prices of the remaining mild-hybrid variants, including the AWD version will be announced at a later date.
