Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder to get all-wheel drive

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder will be unveiled on July 1, 2022.

The latest teaser video of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder confirms that the SUV will come with an all-wheel-drive system and disc brakes on all four corners.

Toyota has already confirmed that The Urban Cruiser Hyryder will be offered with two powertrain options. These include a 1.5-litre petrol mild-hybrid engine, while higher variants will get a strong hybrid powertrain. That being said, it will be the first SUV in its segment to offer all-wheel-drive.

Teasers suggest that the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will come with a split headlamp setup and dual-tone alloy wheels. The SUV will get a dual-tone dashboard and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. We can also expect features such as a sunroof and head-up display.

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder will be unveiled on July 1, 2022. Series production will commence at Toyota’s Bidadi plant in August.
