Toyota Innova Hycross to debut in November 2022

The Innova Hycross is expected to be positioned above the Innova Crysta.

According to a media report, Toyota plans to reveal the Innova Hycross in November this year. The new MPV is likely to be launched in January 2023 and will be sold alongside the Innova Crysta.

The Innova Hycross is said to be based on the TNGA-C platform. It’s a monocoque, as opposed to the ladder-frame chassis-based Innova Crysta. It will also have a front-wheel drive layout instead of the Crysta’s rear-wheel drive setup.

The Innova Hycross is expected to be positioned above the Innova Crysta. It will be slightly longer and will have a more spacious cabin courtesy of a longer wheelbase.

Reports suggest that the Innova Hycross will be offered with a 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain. Like the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the Hycross will also feature a localized version of Toyota’s hybrid system.
