Toyota Glanza, Urban Cruiser prices hiked by up to Rs. 33k

The High Grade of the Urban Cruiser gets a nominal price hike of Rs. 2,500.

Toyota has hiked the prices of the Glanza and Urban Cruiser by up to Rs. 33,000.

The Glanza is available in two trims - G and V. The G MT and G CVT variants now cost Rs. 15,700 more, while the price of the mild-hybrid variant has gone up by Rs. 33,000. The top-spec V trims now cost Rs. 20,000 more.

The Toyota Glanza is offered with a choice of two BS-VI compliant petrol engines, which include a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder unit that produces 83 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque @ 4,200 rpm and a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol unit with a lithium-ion battery with an integrated starter generator that puts out 89 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The Urban Cruiser is available in Mid, High and Premium grades. The prices of the Mid and High grades have been hiked by Rs. 12,500 and Rs. 2,500 respectively. The Premium grade now costs Rs. 5,500 more.

The Urban Cruiser is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 104 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. All three variants are offered with a choice of a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Automatic variants get a lithium-ion battery with an integrated starter generator (ISG).
