Bid farewell to my Super Hornet - Our 2020 Toyota Glanza V MT

The reason for the sale was that my senior citizen father started having back issues recently and was not comfortable getting in and out of the car.

BHPian skanchan95 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

I sold the Glanza after more than four and a half years of ownership and nearly 67000 kms on the odometer. The Toyota Extended Warranty was still valid(till Feb 2025).

While she was in a mechanically perfect condition and had zero issues, the reason for the sale was that my senior citizen father started having back issues recently and was not comfortable getting in and out of the car. It was a painful experience for him daily. So had to let the Glanza go with a heavy heart.

I was very happy with the car. The service experience with the Toyota ASC in United Toyota, Mangalore was good. The car did not have any of the infamous panel rattles or fabrics coming off - issues that one would normally associate with Maruti cars. There were no rust issues and the engine/clutch/brakes etc felt as good as new till the end. The lifetime FE figure for the car was 16.9 kmpl - a figure that I was more than happy with(it dropped slightly over the last 2 months, mostly because of the pathetic state of roads).

On September 17, 2024 - my last glimpse of the car, moments before she was driven away by her new owner.
