Top 10 best-selling cars in India - December 2020

7 of the top 10 cars sold in December 2020 were Maruti vehicles.

Maruti and Hyundai dominated the Top 10 best selling cars list in December 2020. While 7 cars belonged to the Indian stable, 3 came from the South Korean carmaker.

Maruti saw three cars crossing the 18,000 mark. These are the Alto, Swift and the Baleno. The three Hyundai cars in the top 10 list include the Venue, Creta and the Grand i10.

Overall, sales fell from 2,86,235 units in November 2020 to 2,76,412 in December 2020.

Maruti has a market share of 50.92%, while Hyundai's share is 17.15%. They are followed by Tata (8.52%), Mahindra (5.81%) and Kia (4.28%).
