Tata Tiago EV sales cross the 50,000 unit milestone

The Tiago EV was the fastest-booked EV in India, receiving 10,000 bookings in just 24 hours.

Tata Motors has announced a new milestone as sales of the Tiago EV cross the 50,000 unit mark.

Launched in September 2022, the Tiago EV is the brand’s electric-level electric model. It was the fastest-booked EV in India, receiving 10,000 bookings in just 24 hours.

Tata Motors sold over 10,000 units of the Tiago EV in just 4 months after commencing deliveries, while the next 40,000 units were sold in 17 months.

The Tiago EV comes with two battery options. These include a 19.2 kWh battery pack that offers a range of 250 km and a larger 24 kWh battery that has a claimed maximum range of 315 km. It uses a 55 kWh electric motor that drives the front wheels.

Prices for the Tiago EV start at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the MG Comet EV and Citroen eC3.
