Test drove the BYD Seal on BLR roads: 5 observations including GC

While I liked the interiors, not sure if the quality is as good as the initial impression.

Recently took a test of the BYD in Bangalore. They had only the Premium variant for test drive, and my two bits:

• The car looks very sleek and loved it's looks;
• Performance of the Premium variant itself was very impressive. The Performance variant will be crazy;
• While I liked the interiors, not sure if the quality is as good as the initial impression. For example, the plastic behind the front door handle looked a bit cheap. A little more time with the car is necessary for a proper assessment.
• Thought the instrument panel is little busy and cluttered. Maybe there are options to customise it for a cleaner interface. But it felt a bit unpolished, like using a cheap Chinese cell phone, in comparison to an Apple or Samsung.
• While the ground clearance looks low, I did not have any issues during my test drive.
