Tata Nexon facelift: Quick look & observations from the showroom

Overall it's a great car and Nexon has set the new standards in this segment for sure.

I visited one of the Key Motors showrooms in Bangalore and the entire showroom was crowded and filled with customers. Looks like they launched the new Nexon yesterday for display. A test drive vehicle is still not available.

Sales and Customer Experience was great and very professional. They greeted every person who visited the showroom. Even with so much crowd, they assigned SA to every customer. Overall a very happy and satisfied experience at the showroom

Could not take any pictures as many families were looking at the display car. Will try to visit again for the Test Drive next week and take the pictures.

Few observations:

1. Fealess + S MT was at the display and the car looks stunning and very premium. I did not see any fit and finish and quality issues reported during the media drive, Looks like they fixed it in the final customer production units.

2. As reviewed, display clarity and camera quality are top-notch. Worth the amount you spend.

3. They worked on the front seat and it was very comfortable to sit

4. I don't see anything has changed with build quality. And for sure it will score 5 stars. It's a solid car

What so not great:

5. Personally I would have preferred a button instead of a Touch panel, it's not comfortable to operate, and touch sensitivity is not so great. For sure you need to look at the panel to choose the correct option.

Maybe because we are all used to the buttons and touch may take a few days to get used to it. Need to re-evaluate after using it for a couple of days.

6. They should have given a button for Hazard instead of a touch. I agree the usage of this button is less but it's really convenient to have it as a button

7. The touch response of the Infotainment panel is Okay okay and there was a lag.

8. The automated voice is so irritating and for every action, there was an automated voice, Not sure if we can turn off this.

Overall it's a great car and Nexon has set the new standards in this segment for sure. After looking at the car personally, I don't see that the price they quoted is not on the higher side.

BTW, the Fearless variant by default comes with DT with a Black roof and there is no option to go for a single-tone.
