Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the long-range version of the Nexon EV on May 11, 2022. According to a teaser released by the company, the new version will be called Nexon EV Max.
The latest teaser video also reveals the Nexon EV Max's illuminated gear selector. The rotary dial appears to have a screen on top which displays the selected drive mode. It also has an electronic parking brake with auto hold.
The Nexon EV Max is expected to use a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is estimated to offer around 400 km of range on a single charge. Tata is also believed to have upgraded the electric motor to a 134 BHP unit and the car is likely to come with a 6.6 kW AC charger.
The exterior design of the Nexon EV Max looks similar to the standard version. However, as per the teaser, the electric SUV will have new 5-spoke alloy wheels.
