Tata Motors records a 324% jump in EV sales

Tata sold 1,751 electric vehicles in November 2021.

Tata Motors has registered a massive growth in electric vehicle sales compared to the previous year.

Tata sold 1,751 units in November 2021 - close to 4 times compared to the previous year. Just 413 units were sold in November 2020.

Tata Motors' EV portfolio includes the Nexon EV and Tigor EV, with the former being the more popular of the two. In fact, the Nexon EV was the best-selling electric car of 2020.

Tata Motors plans to raise Rs. 7,500 crore to further strengthen its EV business. The company also plans to launch 10 new EVs over the next 5 years.
