Tata Hexa spotted testing - more images

A test mule of the Tata Hexa has been spotted once again. This time, the spotter has obtained images of the rear end of the car.

While the test mule is heavily camouflaged, the images suggest that the production version of the Hexa is likely to carry over the styling from the concept, which was displayed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The Hexa will get new wraparound tail lamps instead of the Christmas tree clusters that are seen on the Aria - the Hexa is based on the Aria.

Compared to the Aria, the Hexa has a flatter bonnet. The vehicle also gets new projector headlamps, a honeycomb mesh grille and restyled alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Hexa is likely to get a dual tone dashboard, multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system and climate control among other features.

The Hexa is expected to be powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder VARICOR 400 diesel engine that puts out 154 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Transmission options are expected to include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
