Tata HBX grille design partially revealed

The Tata HBX sub-4m crossover looks like a mini Harrier.

Earlier this month, a Tata HBX test mule was spotted with production-spec dual-tone alloy wheels. Now, another spy image has surfaced online that partially reveals the car's front fascia.

The HBX's styling is based on Tata's Impact 2.0 design philosophy. From the front, the sub-4 meter crossover looks similar to the Harrier. It has a slim grille with LED daytime running lights on either side, while the main headlamps are positioned lower down.

The Tata HBX will be based on the ALFA platform which also underpins the Altroz. It is likely to be offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 85 BHP and 113 Nm, while higher variants might get a turbocharged 1.2-litre motor. Transmission options might include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
