Suzuki lowers Inazuma price by Rs. 1 lakh

The Suzuki Inazuma is a very capable motorcycle. Senior BHPian 4x4addict's review (link to review) reveals that the bike is a comfortable tourer with plenty of space for the rider and pillion, a 250 cc, parallel twin-cylinder, 24 bhp engine that produces good low and mid-range torque and a slick 6-speed gearbox. However, the bike's rather high price of Rs. 3.1 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) proved to be a major factor for the bike's poor sales.

However, now Suzuki has addressed the issue of the Inazuma's pricing. The cost of the bike has been lowered to Rs. 2,09,369 (ex-showroom, Delhi) - a reduction of more than Rs. 1 lakh. Suzuki claims that this price reduction has been carried out following feedback from dealerships claiming that prospective customers were shying away from purchasing it due to the steep price.

There is good news for existing owners as well. Suzuki is planning to compensate them for the difference in price.

The reduction has brought the Inazuma's price close to that of the KTM 390 Duke and Honda CBR 250R, suddenly making it a very attractive proposition.
