Skoda Superb facelift launched at Rs. 29.99 lakh

Skoda has launched the Superb facelift. The car is available in two variants - Sportline and Laurin & Klement. These are priced at Rs. 29.99 lakh and Rs. 32.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) respectively.

The updated Superb comes with a revised grille flanked by LED headlamps that have integrated LED daytime running lights. The dual-tone front bumper houses a pair of LED fog lamps. At the rear, it has wraparound tail lights with the Skoda lettering on the boot lid. The car gets chrome trim around the windows and dual-tone alloy wheels. The Sportline variant gets a black grille and black lip spoiler at the rear. The Skoda lettering is in black as well. The car rides on silver alloy wheels.

The L&K variant gets dual-tone beige and black interiors, while the Sportline comes with all-black interiors with red accents. It also has a flat-bottom steering wheel (only in Sportline). The car is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with smartphone connectivity, 3-zone automatic climate control, digital instrument cluster (only in Sportline), cruise control, rain sensing wipers, among other features.

The Superb is now powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 188 BHP @ 4,200-6,000 rpm and 320 Nm @ 1,450-4,200 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The new Superb L&K comes in five colour options - Business Grey, Moon White, Magnetic Brown, Magic Black and Lava Blue. The Sportline variant is available in three colours - Moon White, Steel Grey and Race Blue.
