Skoda Octavia RS 245 deliveries begin

Deliveries of the Skoda Octavia RS 245 have begun as lockdown restrictions ease. The first car delivered in India is said to be in Goa and is finished in Race Blue.

In April 2020, we reported that almost all 200 units of the Octavia RS 245 have been sold out. All units were imported as completely built units (CBUs). The car is powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 242 BHP @ 5,000-6,700 rpm and 370 Nm of torque @ 1,600-4,300 rpm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.

It comes with rectangular fog lamps, smoked headlamps, and a gloss black grille. The car also gets a boot spoiler and steel exhaust tips. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and has sports suspension.
