Skoda Octavia launch in April 2021

Deliveries of the sedan will begin by the end of May 2021.

Zac Hollis - Director, Sales and Marketing, Skoda India, has tweeted that the next-gen Skoda Octavia will be launched by the end of April 2021. Deliveries of the sedan will begin by the end of May 2021.

The Octavia has been testing on Indian roads for a while now with Rotare Aero alloy wheels. In the international market, it comes with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The car is offered with a 2-spoke multi-function steering wheel, while a 3-spoke wheel is available as an option. Skoda has also replaced the traditional gear lever with a switch.

In India, customers are likely to get a choice of two turbo petrol engines. These include a 1.5-litre TSI paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 2.0-litre TSI which could be offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
