Lexus has started accepting bookings for the second-generation LM in India.
The Lexus LM is a luxury MPV that is based on Toyota's GA-K platform, shared with the Toyota Vellfire. The LM measures 5,130mm in length, 1,890mm in width and 1,945mm in height.
The 2024 Lexus LM gets a redesigned exterior featuring a large, upright grille, sleek LED headlamps and a wraparound LED light bar that extends across the rear fascia. It comes with sliding doors and can be equipped with either 17-inch or 19-inch wheels.
In India, the Lexus LM will be available in 4 and 7-seater configurations. The former gets reclining seats, a 48-inch widescreen display with a 23-speaker audio system and a partition between the driver and the rear compartment. The MPV comes equipped with fold-out tables, heated armrests, USB ports, wireless phone chargers, reading lights, vanity mirrors, an umbrella holder and even a fridge. There is a dual sunroof, a touchscreen controller for the HVAC, seat functions, interior lighting, window blinds and audio. The MPV also gets a digital rearview mirror, a 360-degree camera and ADAS.
Globally, the Lexus LM is available with two 4-cylinder hybrid powertrains. These include 2.4-litre and 2.5-litre engines paired with hybrid systems. In India, Lexus is offering the LM 350h, which is powered by the 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol hybrid powertrain that puts out 247 BHP and 239 Nm.
