A test mule of the updated Datsun GO has been spotted near Chennai. The new GO is expected to get an updated interior with new seats, infotainment system and other features. The car is likely to get new wheels and tyres as well.

The spy images indicate that the new GO could get 5-spoke alloy wheels. It misses out on ORVMs with integrated turn signals. Instead, the side indicators are placed on the front fenders.

Technical details about the new GO are currently unavailable. However, the car might be offered with the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine as the current model. This engine produces 67 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The updated Datsun GO is expected to be launched in September 2018.
