The next-gen Hyundai i20 is expected to be launched on October 28, 2020. Now, images of the car at a dealer yard have surfaced.
The car seen in these images is finished in a shade of white and appears to be a higher end variant. It could be a display or test drive car for the dealership. The third generation Hyundai i20 could come in four variants - Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O).
Hyundai is expected to offer three engine options in the new i20. These include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which will be paired to a manual transmission and an IVT, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired to an iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired to a manual transmission. These are the same set of engines and transmissions that are available in the Venue sub-4 meter crossover.
