Scoop: Maruti Suzuki S-Cross interiors: clear images

The interiors of the Maruti Suzuki SX4 S-Cross have been spied once again and this time we have clear images.

The interiors are similar to the S-Cross displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo. The dashboard is black with silver detailing around the AC vents and audio system. The black and silver theme continues all the way down and around the centre console. The steering wheel is similar to other Maruti cars. In this car, there are no controls mounted on the steering wheel and features like climate control and start/stop button are missing, suggesting that it could be a mid or lower variant. The instrument cluster also appears to be the same as the one seen on the display car with the tachometer and speedometer dials sporting blue illumination.

The S-Cross is believed to be powered by a 1.6-litre diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. To keep costs in check, Maruti may not equip the S-Cross with the Suzuki AllGrip all-wheel drive system that is available on the car in other countries.
