Scoop! Hyundai to hike car prices by up to Rs. 33k from Jan 1

Hyundai to hike prices by up to Rs. 32,880 depending on the model.

As is the case with most manufacturers, Hyundai too will be increasing the prices of its cars from January 1, 2021.

Depending on the model, the price hike ranges from Rs. 7,521 to Rs. 32,880.

Model-wise increase in ex-showroom prices:

  • Creta - Rs. 27,335
  • Venue - Rs. 25,672
  • Verna - Rs. 32,880
  • Santro - Rs. 9,112
  • Grand i10 NIOS - Rs. 8,652 / CNG - Rs. 14,556
  • Aura - Rs. 11,745 / CNG - Rs. 17,988
  • I20 - Rs. 7,521

The revised prices will also be applicable on 2020 models that are not sold before December 31, 2020.

Carmakers often increase the prices at the beginning of the new year. It is usually to offset increased input costs.
