The Hyundai Alcazar could make an early launch and is expected to arrive at dealerships by May 2021.
The Alcazar is a 3-row SUV and is expected to be offered in 6 and 7-seat configurations. The former gets separate captain seats for the second row.
The SUV will look similar to the 5-seater Creta, but it could get a tweaked front fascia and an extended rear end to accommodate the third row of seats. It will also feature a completely different tail lamp design, twin exhausts and front parking sensors.
The Alcazar could be offered with the same engine options as the Creta. These include 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines along with a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic, CVT and a 7-speed DCT which is only offered with the turbo-petrol engine.
