A heavily camouflaged Maruti Suzuki MPV was spotted on the Greater Noida Expressway. The car appears to be a new variant of the seven seater Ertiga.
The front fascia looks similar to the current Ertiga, with round fog lamps, ORVMs and the front windscreen having a similar design. The headlamp cluster is revised with the indicator lamps positioned closer to the grille.
At the back, the rear overhang appears to be slightly increased. The taillights are similar to the current Ertiga. Overall the vehicle looks to be a lengthened version of the Ertiga.
Currently, a choice of 1.4-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel engine is available with the Ertiga. This new MPV could be powered by the same set of engines.
Maruti could launch this as the next-gen Ertiga. The current Ertiga measures 4,265 mm, while the recently launched Ertiga Drezza in Thailand measures 4,325 mm. The Ertiga was launched for the first time in India in April 2012.
