Rumour: Toyota could launch rebadged Ertiga by August 2021

According to a media report, Toyota might launch a rebadged version of the Ertiga by August this year.

The report states that Toyota's version of the Ertiga MPV is already under development. It is likely to receive minor cosmetic changes including a new grille as seen in this leaked image.

Toyota's version of the Ertiga will use the same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, mild-hybrid engine as the Maruti product. This unit produces 103 BHP and 138 Nm. Maruti offers this engine with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
