Skoda might have discontinued one of the variants of the new Octavia within weeks of its launch. According to sources, dealerships are no longer accepting bookings for the Octavia Style Plus variant. It is likely to be replaced with a new L&K variant.
The Skoda Octavia facelift was launched on Jul 13, 2017 with three trim options - Ambition, Style and Style Plus. The top-spec Style Plus trim was reserved for petrol and diesel automatic models. The Octavia Style Plus 1.8 TSI AT and diesel 2.0 TDI AT cost Rs. 20.90 lakh and Rs. 22.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
Some of the features of the Style Plus variant included LED headlights and tail lamps, panoramic sunroof, 8.0-inch touchscreen with navigation, 12-way electrically adjustable driver's seat with memory function, keyless entry, auto park assist, curtain and side airbags, fatigue alert, etc.
The final list of features available on the new 'Laurin & Klement' (L&K) variant of the Octavia is yet to be confirmed. Secondly, there has been no official announcement about the price of the Octavia L&K or what engines it will be offered with.
